Alan Abretti - Ice Operations Manager

With his partner Karen Quinn, Alan was a member of the British International figure skating team and silver medal winner at the World Professional Skating Championships. They were principal performers with Holiday on Ice for seven years and Alan is a BITA (British Ice Teachers Association) qualified professional skating coach.

Alan has an extensive managerial background in the ice industry following his work at the Basingstoke Arena for the Planet Ice company. He manages the logistics of our ice rink projects, either synthetic or real, travelling all over the country checking out potential sites, meeting prospective clients, creating and presenting the Cousins Entertainment staff training days as well as keeping a beady eye on the quality of all of our rinks whether for public skating or for television or theatre. Few people in this business know more about all aspects of ice than Alan!

As an additional claims to fame, Alan was the choreographer for Robbie Williams on the video for the hit song "She's The One" and once skated on top of a wedding cake for a Culture Club video!
